Is there anyone who doesn't have a signature Strat out?

I like it... especially with the thicker 'C' neck.

Nathan

Wow, did this just get released? I haven't heard anything about it.

I kinda hoped he'd get one actually. He's a pretty mean blues player underneath that pop persona plus I like his regular stuff to boot!

I was just thinking about this the other day, quot;why hasnt John Mayer have a signature strat yet?quot;

yeah, i think john mayer plays the pop to pay the bills, but his soul is in the blues. I'd rate him as a top blues player (today), and he toured with buddy guy so that's a big time plus.

That strat looks pretty darn good!

i like it.

Rat Bastard!!!!!

Wouldn't surprise me the least bit if it was a Stevie clone because on the crossroads DVD he is playing a SRV Strat with a new pickguard.

i can't seem to find out anything on the fender site about this guitar

WTF!!!! john mayer has a sig? i thought billy martin's sig with prs was a joke.

As a teenager I actually think he played the Blues circuit somewhere in Texas? A buddy of mine told me he started off playing the blues but that he had knack for pop songwriting, or something like that. But yeah, his blues are excellent.

he is a really good blues player. he studied jazz at some place like berkley and dropped out because he wasn't learning anything new. you really have to hear him go off on a SRV kind of tangent live to hear what kind of player he really is. he also has a martin sig guitar.

I like it; it's my kinda Strat, though I'm reaaly a Tele man.

If I was gonna buy one, I'd either be that or the Keith Partridge signature model.

The main difference there is that Mayer is a killer player . Check out the Crossroads Festival DVD for some proof.
