hey,
i recently got a jackson dk2s with the sustainiac pick up in the bridge. the pickup configuration is hss with the sustainiac taking the place of a neck sc pickup. this limits me getting a nice lead tone in the neck and ive been used to having a humbucker sound in the neck.
could anybody recommend a good middle position pickup with enough output to get a nice humbuckersounding lead tone?
i was thinking the seymour duncan lil jb or the lil 59
thanks guys
Cool rails is a great pickup IMHO. Most if the guys here that I asked said they preferred it to the Lil '59 because it was more *punchy*.

1 Best suggestion period.
a bridge lil 59 in the middle of a strat style guitar is a very sweet tone
cool thanks guys.
thats interesting about the cool rail. would it have enough output in the middle pos for a nice humbucker lead tone?.. if that is possible
I'll go with Jeremy's suggestion of a bridge Lil 59 in the mid.

'Sweet' is a very good way to describe the tone of a 'lil 59. They give a much warmer tone than a Jb Jr or a Cool Rails would.
