Ok I need help again!
I've got a Marshall 2x12 cab that I want to change the speakers in, but I'm not sure on the following:
Can I mix speakers with different power ratings/impedences? If so, what affect does this have on the total wattage of the cab and how would I need to wire it up - series or parallel? How would I calculate the impedence of the cab?
Thanks in advance

You can mix speakers with different power ratings, but not with different impedences. ALL of your speakers must be 8ohm, 16ohm, ect. If you have 2 speakers rated at 75 watts, the total wattage of your amp is 150w. A 25w and a 75w have 100w total.
There is supposedly a difference (albiet slight) in tone regarding parallel vs series. Can't remember how that goes, someone else will have to chime in on wiring....I'm retarted when it comes to that.
Thanks Jeff.
