been playing my acoustic ALOT recently and im finding the transition back to electric somwhat dificult!

problem is;
my acoustic sounded so nice and was beautifull to sing too.
my ibanez however has still got the pickups that it came with, and they are SOOO harsh!
its like singing over hitler shouting
not nice

so im going wanting to buy a pickup for the neck to make it sound a little more pleasent.

only iv no idea what im doing.....
help?
any surgestions on a nice (price no object) neck humbucker for my horid hard rock guitar?

Maybe the Jazz neck? It's very articulate and clean sounding..But I haven't tried one in real life so I'll let the other guys chime in.

What Ibanez, body wood.. fretboard wood.. I need details man!

I'm guessing that's a Mohogany body with a rosewood fretboard and maple neck, also an Ibanez floating tremelo bridge.

I think a SD Jazz neck humbucker would be a great choice, there are a few other options though, so I'll let others chime in.

I'd go with an alnico II Pro humbucker for the neck.It will be smooth, warm and clean.

yeah the A2P would be a sweet choice in there, and if you're looking for a bridge pu as well you might want to try another A2P, or 59 depending on if you want a cleaner or dirtier sound from it.

I have a Jazz in my RR3 made out of alder.

Its beautiful, and so much tone flexability. Its an amazing pickup.

I love it. one of the best purchases I've ever made.

The guys are right when they say a Jazz model in the neck. I've never tried one either but supposedly it's great for that clean sound.
