A guy at a local guitar store told me about this place because I was looking for guitars for my girlfriend who is a lefty....so...this place ONLY sells left handed guitars, and that includes vintage stuff!! They charge an extra 15% for right handed stuff Hope this helps you cats out...

Southpaw Guitars

Thanks for the site, CFF! If I meet anyone whos a left-handed guitarist I'll be sure to pass them that site. It's about time a shop like this came out

Thanks buddy...My American Deluxe strat you see in my avatar was bought from Southpaw back in 99,but I've known about them even before that..Real bad place for me to visit...LOL

Thanks for thinking of us lefties!!! Sometimes I feel were thought of as carnies! Everytime I go into a shop and ask for lefties they always point me towards the wall of Mexican Strats. It's so tough to find a nice lefty. I've been to that site many times but never to the store itself.... I just don't trust myself

yeah.....my sister started out left handed, but I switched her real quick to right handed (before I even knew she'd start playing guitar...) I made her bat right handed, throw right handed, she already wrote right handed.....now I'm really glad I got her right handed before she started playing guitar....you're right, finding left handed guitars is very hard, and I understand, as I've been searching for a decent cheap acoustic for my girlfriend....no luck just yet! but soon! Right now she's playing my old Samick acoustic strung backwards, but as you can imagine, the intonation isn't exactly the greatest!

If you have access to a classical nylon string guitar those are good ones to flip over to lefty because the bridge is straight not slanted. The nut can be an issue... I've had to chip away the high E slot to make room for a low E... but if that's all you got you learn to make it work.

yeah, it's cool...I wanna get her on regular acoustic because that's her favorite...all of her favorite songs/bands are those focused around steel string acoustic guitar, so I think that's what she'll get the most fun out of

I'm fortunate that I've picked up some excellent left handed guitars over my many years of playing..We're talking highend stuff like Les Pauls,2 Teles,SG,and like 6 strats from last count? LOL I also own a Fernandes LE2 MIJ strat that is every bit as good as my American Fender stuff...

Hey Lefty friends, may be one of you can tell me where can I find lefty pickguard.
I have a lefty Strat.highway 1, customize, cause I play it with the string upside down.
So I had to install a right handed nutbone, right handed pickups, and ajust the bridge.
Bridge=Lil59, middle= fender noiseless, Neck= Fender hot noiseless. Also had to change the volume pot from a 250 to a 500. Love my guitar and love my tone but all I would like to change is my pickguard.
