I've got a Warmoth P/J bass which I wired up according to this diagram.
For a while, it was fine, but recently, I've begun to get this annoying humming. The humming goes away completely whenever I touch the control plate (which is metal), or the output jack.
Does anyone know what might be causing this and how I might fix it?
Thanks alot,
Jacob
Go back and check the EA Board, I posted some info. It's probably just a cold solder joint.
What's the EA board?
Jacob
Ha! Sorry, wrong guy. I thought you were someone else...
Guess so. I'm just one of many Sid Vicious/William Shakespear fans apparently.
Check all ground connections, especially at the jack. All of those ground connections should be connected whether it's the back of a pot or some other point.
