Hey guys i have a hamer cx-2( go it for VERY cheap on ebay...haha just needed a project) It's got a strat basswood body with a maple neck and fret board. I need some advice as to what two humbckers to put in. My musical tastes are along the lines of Zeppelin, Hendrix, slash(g'n'r), ac/dc, clapton, and nirvana. I guess i need enough tonal versatility so that they can get down amp; dirty and clean up good too. Much appreciated.
id say a 59b and a aphn would be a good pair for you if your amp has enough gain since those pups arent highoutput

I you do need a high outpuut bridge 'bucker, I'd suggest a C5 paired with the APH. That's what I use in my Hamer ('81 Special) and I can get lots of different sounds and textures from that set up.
Custom Custom in bridge with either Alnico 2 Pro or Seth Lover in the neck. (These are warmer, smoother buckers to complement that maple neck and fingerboard.)
Thanks guys for the input. When i went to the tonal wizzard on the site it suggested that a possibility of a jb in the bridge and jazz in the neck. what do you think of that combo
Thanks guys for the feed back i starting to consider the cc in b but i need a nice clean neck any what other sugeestions that might you have would be appreciated. Also is the cc beter in the bridge then a jb? For say playing Zeppelin/santana/black sabbath type stuff? THANKS
