Hey, yesterday I went and replaced my stock bc rich bridge p'up with a seymour duncan screamin demon, now the problem is, is that it doesn't sound very heavey at all, and it's quiet compared to my bridge which is a stock bc rich p'up. Here are some photos of the wiring to see if I done it right. I followed the schematics on the seymour duncan page for a 2 humbucker, 1 volume, 1 tone, 3 way no split which is what my setup is. So I soldered the black wire to the toggle switch like the diagram, then I grounded the green and bare to the back of the tone pot like the diagram, and I soldered the red and white together and insulated them with electric tape. But the distortion is very weak, and it's very quiet compared to my other p'up. What is wrong?
also, I have taken a pic of the guitar side on where the duncan is and was wondering if it is the right position or should it be perfectly parallel to the strings?
Unfortunately, the bottom pics aren't too clear. You want to make sure that the SD wire goes to one end of that 3-way, and not to the middle. Also, just double check your connections and make sure they are all shiny, good solder connections. The back of the tone pot goes to ground somewhere, right?
The other pickup isn't an quot;activequot; is it?
