Does SD make a seperate neck and bridge version of the Phat Cat? I have one, but the box doesn't specify neck or bridge. Never noticed it until someone said they wanted to buy a neck version.

Yes, there is a seperate neck and bridge.

If you have the box, look at the part number:

11302-16 is the bridge

11302-15 is the neck

I believe mine are labeled on the uderside of the pickup as well.

Yes they do -

ZHANG is the expert on these. he had a neck one made a bit underwound to 7k (me thinks), really made the Les Paul sound woody and gave it that p90 kinda spank and sprakle.

I have one in a bridge model I use for slide, sounds nice, fat, and bitey while a tad compressed.
