Okay. A pawnshop has a Tele shape guitar. The headstock says quot;Fender, Made in Mexicoquot;

in REALLY small letters, off to the side it reads quot;Squier Seriesquot;

What's up with this? Any information is greatly appreciated.

This is a rare and usually valuable guitar. It's a Squire telecaster. Sometime back in the 80's if I remember right. They're usually great guitars. I used to know alot about the subject. My local shop had a strat, mim, but squire not too long ago. Went for about 500 I think.

Squier used to be a Series, not a company. It will be beter quality than the Squiers now. (thank you for spelling Squier right)

I'd grab it. Those were good guitars.

Do it. I've only seen one of them, and it was very nice.

What color, and fingerboard is it? If the price is right i'd think about buying it and asking you to ship it to me. I've got white Tele GAS.
