Anyone own or play one of these? Saw one in GC yesterday and I was diggin' it. Very playable, great p90 sound, and much lighter than a regular Paul. Would yo say the tone on this is somewhere btw a Paul and an SG?
i've played one of the 'prs ripoff' les paul double cutaways but not the p90 one. Overall it was a fairly nice axe and it wasn't overpriced as bad as other gibsons.
IMHO, the tone is very SG like. I've owned a few and overall they are good for the money. The fretwork wasn't top shelf, but it was decent.
my friend has one although he hardly ever takes it out of the case ( he thinks the thing is godly or something ) it sounds sorta nice, but the bridge and tailpiece are set way freaking high for whatever reason
Cool guitars.
Some of the faded ones are pretty nice guitars; the RI 0 historic one kicks ***! It's been my favorite since I got it a few months ago.

You do know that the LP Double Cut body style has been used by Gibson since 1958, right?
I think a DC LP with P90's will be my next guitar. I intend to use it for slide. Great access and the P90 tone for slide is just what I am after. Soon!!! Very soon!!
