A bit of a clip of sorts. Sounds so-so on my crappy laptop speakers. This was recorded using Larry's minidisc digital video cam.
Let me know if how it sounds.

Scott...I brought in my good speakers over the weekend while I was here working...there is alot of clipping going on so I'd be hesitant to judge the amps tone as quot;yeaquot; or quot;nayquot; based on that...however, it did sound vox-like and fender-like at the same time to me...deep like a Bassman...chimey like a Vox
.................got anything more than 7 seconds?
I thought my computer froze up!!!!
yea it is clipping too much
I agree with the above. Just not really able to pick the tone out of the hash. That must mean it was LOUD!!
Yeah, signal overload.
Okay, I'm going to make some clips myself later this week. You all will just have to put up with my crappy playing....

It smoked the Tweed Pro.
Well it sure looks good, and his fingers move fast..........
.....any idea why mine won't play the sound just the video? (yes volume is up and its not muted)
Sounds very promising. Can't wait for proper clips.
Hey, are you doing your input transformers with multiple taps for us overseas types?

220v/240v is not a huge problem, but I don't own a variac for it at this point.
I am sending Scott a better, longer clip this week and plan to get together to record some clips later at his house.
I guess I should have stood way further back. We might have over did it on the video cam mic!
Thanks for the help Larry and Jeff! I appreciate it all.
New file - 22 seconds long has been uploaded on the toneninja.net site.
This amp was being driven to get the tone of an amp when a hot lead is being played. (Let me know if you think I play hot)
Clipping comes from the digital camera mike being too close to the sound.
Yes it is loud and substains just right.
The Franklin amp is a very sweet sounding amp that is a joy to play. Easy to dial-in the tone. Similar to a Matchless!
This amp is an excellent club amp.
More clips later this week with a clear not overdriven tone.

both files are the same, the mpeg one is a bit video skewed on my laptop.
I can't hear anything on any of those clips!
