Never done this before. I want to do it myself, cos guy inthe shop said that installing 3 sss will cost 80 dollars...thats too much. I am going to spend 200 for the pups already.
Yjm neck, yjm midle, jb jr bridge. Can someone post scheme or something(easy to understand). And i want to wire dimarzios like in YJM STRAT.
BTW, guitar is strat highway1.
Seymour duncan has schematic listed on the web site under support. The demarzios will have different wire colors from the duncans. I just installed new pups in my fat strat (it was my first time as well) and it was easy. The duncan pups also came with schematics.
Good luck bro

First of all, that's a great guitar to upgrade, the Hwy. 1's are very resonant and really take well to upgraded hardware and electronics. Of course you probably already know all of that. I have found that most techs are not too much more capable than average Joe's when it comes to soldering.
From Fender
Controls Master Volume,
Tone 1. No-Load Tone Control (Neck Pickup),
Tone 2. No-Load Tone Control (Bridge and Middle Pickups)
Pickup Switching 3-Position Blade:
Position 1. Bridge Pickup
Position 2. Middle Pickup
Position 3. Neck Pickup
In order to achieve this you will need to purchase 2 no-load Fender Pots from your local dealer,
Here is the diagram for his wiring, from Fender.
from : localhost/that set up you will NOT be able to get the notch postions, unless you get a vintage correct one that you can keep in the middle of 2 positions with a piece of paper or matchbook. Also it will only allow for runnin your JBjr in full humbucking mode.
Hope this helps!
