There's an ass (jackass?) for every seat...I saw an auction the other day for one set of Ernie Ball 5150 strings and three sets of Peavey Wolfgang strings, it sold for $75. I was tempted to inform the buyer that those out of production Wolfgang strings were in fact just GHS strings repackaged under the Peavey name, but that would just be mean.

Overpriced EVH-related item...isn't that a bit redundant?

I have this funny feeling that the guy must accidentally be hitting the quot;0quot; key twice when putting in the price of the auction... those strings do sell for alot.... for some reason.... another EVH item that i think is overpriced are those leather EVH straps... those go for over $100

I'll say...I bought one when I got my Wolfgang a few years back. I paid about $40 for it. I ended up selling it for nearly $200.

I remember those strings. Used to use them way back in the day, when they were 'Kramer' branded.

WHAT???? I bought a Peavey EVH strap, thought it was too small, a piece of garbage fake leather strap. It didn't last one day until I replaced it with a real leather strap and I threw it out last week. OUCH!

Those ernie ball strings- I bought a few when I first got my Axis, and they do sound great on that guitar, different than other strings, and I'm able to get a great brown sound out of that guitar with them.
