With AMPGE.com on active duty can any one tell me where else I can order base plates for my 59's.I thought I saw a post recently with a link to somewhere that had them ,but I cant seem to find it now.
most here also link to I´m not aware of another place that sells sintgle quot;pickup partsquot;.... sells kits, but I dont think that´s what you want...
Another option would be to get a cheap no-brand pickup or a Duncan humbucker which doesn't work and then to take out the baseplate (and other parts)
That's the way i did it to replace a baseplate, to get a mag, wire, etc...
Allparts ...
Maybe I can cannibalize on old Epi pup I have.I think I'll have to drill holes for the mounting screws though.
Stew-Mac sells them for about $5.
Those look like what come on the 59's.I need the legs to be shorter,to make my life easier and we all know thats what its all about
Yup . . . I think you're right. I still haven't figured out how to make life easier.
Guitar Jones USA has the shorter leg baseplates. www.guitarjonesusa.com
Why not call Duncan CS or the customer support. I would think that they might have one or two around for these kinda repair it yourself purposes.
