You better start working out, rd. If you intend to play that thing, your back needs to be plenty strong.
I'd call it Very Kool, with a dash of insane.
I couldn't justify it for myself... A double neck with 12 and 6 would be fine. It's definetly over the top, but would be fun to mess around with for a little while.
Rock On ~!~
what a waste of wood. How could you play all three necks with all of them at a reasonably comfortable level?

Havn't you seen Steve Vai do it? Not only did he play a triple neck similar to that one, (and make it look comfortible) he played all 3 at the same time.
Steve Vai is awesome, I wouldn't even attepmt that.
Rock On!
The 7 string should be on the bottom, the 6 string should be in the middle and they should have a fretless on the top.

how'd he play all three at once
^^ Vai strums the chords/harmonics on the top neck and let it sustain, do some licks on the middle neck, then harmonize with the fretless bottom neck (it varies a lot, but you'll get the idea). Towards the end of the song, he had Dave Wiener fret the top neck. G3 2003. The most amazing show i've ever been to. And Vai playing that triple neck guitar as an openning song, is the most awesome thing on guitar i've ever seen.
thats ****ing awesome while being extremly useless

Not to Steve Vai.
Michael Angelo as a quadruple neck Washburn.
Rick Nielsen as a quintuple neck Hamer (I think). I still have to see him play that though.

Get Vai and that guy who played Bach on the double-neck for the next show on a triple neck and that would be killer

Not sure who quot;that guyquot; is, but yeah, that would be killer
Rock On!
Insanelly cool but I doubt a lot of people would use it for anything else than a wall decoration. Sure there are folks who are able to play it, just not too many.
I don't know but something seems odd. I think I saw that exact guitar before in Ed Roman's site. Could it be a hoax? For almost 700$, hum...

The 3-neck on ebay seems gimmicky but fun, not really the kind of thing I'd be seen with, but whatever floats your boat.

Imagine the size of hardshell case.
What's the point of a 7-string and 6-string double neck? I get the 6/12, but why not just play a 7?

Bottom pic, mixedwords ;P

I think the point is that you have all three on the same guitar. Whether or not that's a good thing is debatable.
The big question, of course, is: what pickups would you put in that thing?
I would go Seths in the 12, Distortions in the 7, and CC/PG in the 6. It's fun when you get to choose six pickups, isn't it?
