Not that I would buy even a stock Esquire, but that is pretty sad. He should have gotten a cheaper custom shop Telecaster off ebay and did all that to it instead.

The mods themselves I quite like, but not in a Custom Shop!! Mad as a box of frogs.

Dude, seriously. MIM Telecasters are like $350. If you want to butcher a guitar, there are plenty of them around..........

I like the mods, and the pickups, but to desecrate the Duncan name is sacreledge! haha

I played that model for the first time at Ed Roman's in Vegas a few weeks ago.

What was surprising was that I discovered Seymour's setup preference. He likes the neck lower in the pocket than stock Fenders. His signature felt like a 50's Tele, minus the neck pickup, with a neck that was sunk down lower than usual.

If you ask me, I think the signature should have been an exact reliced duplication of his #1 TeleGib!
