a clip fo yo ass!
Turn ur volume up a little more than usual, as the clip is a tad low in volume. Check out the pic of my pottyamp. I wasn't happy w/ the room the amp was originally being mic'ed in. I wanted a more quot;livequot; sound. So I moved the amp to the ladies room amp; walla!
You can hear a bit of the pick/strum bleed through the vocal mic, as I recorded the gtr amp; vox live.
Song is quot;in progressquot;. Gonna get some Bass amp; Drums veddy soon.
Tell me whatcho think.
Oh yeah, the Pro Reverb is an early 68 black line, drip edge w/ the blackface circuit.
Nice! It kind of reminds me of the later Replacements.
I say no drums or bass. Maybe some organ/keys, fiddle, and a French horn. And some Leslie on the git. IMHO.
Good work!
Man. Brandon, I dig it. It was about a 45 minute d/l for me (dial-up) but it was worth it.
Two rhymes made me laugh, quot;crappyquot; and quot;Scrappyquot;...lol
The tone is nearly the definition of what I mean when I refer to something as having quot;sparklequot;, great clean tone.
The progression is fun and the chorus is cool. It lends itself to chromaticism in single lines, which I always love. It's also a double stop playground, and that's cool, too.
My only criticism isn't really a criticism, so take it for what it's worth. Who'll play it? Just exactly which genre does it fit into? It's a great tune, but I'm not sure that I would know how to market it.
Thanks for sharing it with us. I really dig it.
hey guyz, thanx for the listens!
Falstaff, interesting instrumentation ideas. I even have a french horn here at my house.
Hamer, damn dude! 45 min d/l. I know how it is, I'm all about the 56k on my G5. I have a laptop downstairs w/ hi-speed, but it has crappy speakers, so it sux for listening to music. Anyway, I appreciate, like crazy, u spendin' the time to d/l, amp; for your comments.
amp; I have no idea what genre that, or any of my tunes fit in, amp; I'm kinda glad about that.
tanx again, doodz!
Sweet guitar and nice melodies man. Yes I hear some Replacements in there too.. but you are a much better guitar player..

I liked that touch!
Wow what a sh.itty tone.... ( Sorry could not resist with a toilet sitting right there on your page) Really dig that little ditty, great singing voice. Lovely chords.
My 'puter is being sh1tty about quicktime stuff... do you have it in mp3 format?

Not that I'm appointing myself your Reuben Kincaid, or anything.
It also kinda reminds me of the Del Fuegos (they were a great Boston band in the 80s).
Can u right click on this link amp; save it??? let me try.

gotta save a baby's face ...
well crafted tunage, friend ... i'll be interested to hear how it turns out when fleshed out ... sweet tone and chords ... and your voice is way cool - i really dig the way it is always honest no matter what style you are singing ...
FWIW, i hear it a bit faster in tempo ... seemed to drag a bit through the middle ...
keep it comin'

I second the B3, that would be hella-cool. Also, what about a nine inch nails-ey lo-fi bass amp; snare drum loop, maybe panned all the way to one side?
I was only able to get a partial listen...I'll try again later. The room reverb is cool, though. I really dig your clean tones.
Now, go back to dating preadolescents and stop beating up infants.
(I'm gonna have to let that one go, it's getting old. Give us something else to make fun of )
Awww, U guyz r soo sweet! Thanx for the listens, compliments, amp; instrumentation suggestions.
I'm talkin' to a drummer now about dressin' it up a little. Sorry falstaff. I feel the drive amp; build of the tune coming from percussion. I'm still thinkin' about it though. I can always try it amp; toss it if I don't likes.
Oh, and I promise to work on my paternal instincts.
thanx again, friendz!
I like the lack or percussion- just you and your guitar letting the Emo flow.
