I've decided to Get myself a Fender Mim Nashville tele. And I'm planing on replaceing the pickups (duh). So I'm looking for some suggestions on what to put in it. The One I'm getting (the blonde finished one) Has an Ash body, and a Rosewood finger board. I Like to play alotta different kinds of music. But Its Mostly 90's style alt/rock (think smashing pumpkins). I play through a Fender Concert amp, and a Boss ds-1. I'm Hopeing to go fully humcanceling on everything. And Most likely will Buy a new pickguard when I replace pickups and Probably not even have a middle pickup.
So Suggestions for the Bridge and Neck possitions would be greatly appreciated.
So far I'm thinking a Hot rails Bridge, and Either a 59' neck, Or Possibly a mini-bucker in the neck. I Have No idea about the middle though, Which is why I'm thinking about just covering it up and leaveing it empty. But I'de Love to hear other peoples opinions and suggestions. I'm still really open as far as what to do with it (I haven't even bought the guitar yet), So Suggest Litterally anything you think is a good idea. Also An explaination of WHY would be helpful too. Haha.
Thanks in advance Guys and Girls.

I like the Hot Tele lead in the bridge om my Thinline, but you want low noise options so that might not work for you.
If you dig the Smashing Pumpkins sound, get a pickguard routed for two strat sized singles. The pickup choices would be as follows:
Lace Blue in the neck
Lace Silver in the middle, and
Lace Red for tele in the bridge
This set will not only get close to the Pumpkins, but it will also do Radiohead and other sounds.
Oh yeah, don't forget your Big Muff.
If I were putting a Hot Rails in the bridge, my first impulse would be to put two Cool Rails in the mid/neck positions. It's perhaps not the most exciting choice from a quot;Oooh looks what I came up withquot; perspective, but it's almost guaranteed to work well.
That wouldn't leave you with anything particularly Telecasterish, though...so here's my more 2 traditional Tele votes (and in both of these cases, *I* would actually vote for putting another Strat pickup in the neck position, but that's just because I don't much care for the sound of most Tele neck pups):
Bridge: Alnico II Pro Lead
Middle: 5-2 for Strat
Neck: Vintage Tele Rythym
or
Bridge: Jerry Donahue
Middle: Alnico Pro II for Strat
Neck: 5-2 for Tele Rythym
or for Traditional while noiseless, a pair of the new Stack models with a Vintage Tele Lead Stack would probably work very well. I haven't heard them yet, though, so I'm just relying on others' judgement there.
St_Genesius I was actully considering the Jerry Donahue model for the bridge, Just cause so many people seem to love it. But I've never actully heard it myself. is it similar to a vintage for broadcaster? Or something else? I'm quite interested.
But I dunno about the strat pickups for the middle or neck. I was actully planing getting a normal tele pickgaurd and Not having a middle pickup, Just cause I never used middle p'ups in all the strats I've had. And they also tend to get in the way of my picking.
And, For some reason I hadn't even thought of The cool rails for the Neck. Haha, It seems so obvious, But I didn't even think of it. So I'm deffinately gonna have to check out some sound clips now. Haha.
And...
Benjy_26, Its not that I'm looking to get a Pumpkins sorta tone. Cause thats not hard to do. I was just saying that the Kind of music I play/write/record, is similar In style to the Smashing pumpkins. Or at least thats the best comparison I could think of (that people would understand). I'm just looking for some pickup ideas that will do Highgain good, But still be able to clean up nicely.
And besides, No one in the Pumpkins ever used Lacesensors for recording. Billy had Lacesensor equiped strats For touring. But he normally used Normal strats, teles, and Les Pauls in the studio.
But Thanks for suggesting the Lace sensors, With out that suggestion I never would have even Thought of them. I checked out they're site earlyer, and While I'm probably not gonna go with them for the tele. I do have an Old strat laying around That I might have to pop some of those into. haha.
Thanks alot both a you's.Anyone else got suggestions?

I just set one of my teles up as a nashville tele. I used a JD bridge, Alnico Pro II RP middle, and an antiquity neck. I really like this combination.
Listen to the weird cleans on Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie. That's nothing but Laces on those recordings.
if you just want a good general rock sound from your tele, a Lil 59 in the bridge paired with a Tele rythm stack will do what you ask of it very well.
Best tele idea ever, put in vintage rhythm 54 (neck), jerry donahue(bridge), and THEN A vintage or hot JAGUAR PICKUP IN THE MIDDLE POSITION. PERFECT SOUND ESPECIALLY FOR 90'S. JAG AND JERRY COMPLEMENT EACHOTHER NICELY.
