Hey guys. I almost had the perfect story to share with you guys.

My uncle got me a gift, which turned out to be a 72-75 Gibson Custom SG. I say 72-75 because I just a guitar shop look over it and give me the specs. It has a custom paint job, replicating Eric Clapton's SG he used to use. It has frogs and butterflies all over it in different areas on top of a rainbow-like background. What makes this perfect story so imperfect is that the neck is bowed, badly. The guy who looked it over said the bridge was replaced with a non-Gibson bridge and that the guitar had not been played in years. He said that I would need to have it restored by someone very experienced. I need you guys to help me find a shop that restores vintage Gibsons, especialy SGs. How much would it cost me ball park? He said if I don't have it restored by a true professional than it's basically as good as an ornament, so I am expecting a heffty sum. But I figured I got it for free, its vintage and has a one of a kind paint job. sSo restoring it would be worth it, if it doesn't cost me more than $500. I wont be sending it off right away, but I just want to start researching and figuring where/who my possibilities are.

the ONLY person i would let touch that is Cris Mirabella at he can restore it for you.
he is my friend and my luthier who works on all my guitars and who builds some of the most amazing guitars. he has restored many many vintage guitars with values that would scare off bill gates lol.
