Hey dudes! My tweak fuzz is on the way, and I'm curious to know what other people think of them. I'm pretty excited to try it, as it will be my first fuzz pedal. Let's hear it!

Mark,

I pretty damn impressed with the Tweak Fuzz. As I was telling Christian, its got a great overdriven quality to it and the fuzz goes from mild to crazy! I'm sure you will enjoy it!

I have one. Awesome. Great bang for the buck as well! When it comes to a Fuzz sound you have floating around in your head, this pedal can dial it in.

I was thinking about picking one up myself. I love the idea of just dialing a good fuzz. Instead of having several different fuzz pedals on my board.

The kind of fuzz I'm wanting to get is Lenny Kravitz style fuzz. Hopefully this thing will get it done, and then some.

I've been looking for something that can act well as a boost for just slightly louder solos, and also something that can do those totally square-waved out, almost synth like fuzz tones. This seems like the ticket! I'll let you know how it does when i get mine.

One more question - how does it compare to the well-known Germanium fuzzes?

Scott hit the nail squarely on the head with the phrase bang for the buck. I totally agree. In its price range (sub $100), it is probably tied with the Zakk Wylde Overdrive.

Brow and I both thought that it sounded great, until you compare it to much more expensive pedals.

It doesn't.

I'll 2nd TO on this

The Tweak Fuzz was the 1st Fuzz pedal I tried when I went into 30th Street guitars. I tried it with a Les Paul into a Fender Twin. It was a great sounding, versatile fuzz pedal. I even preferred the Tweak Fuzz over a Fulltone 69 Fuzz pedal.

I then moved on and put the Tweak Fuzz up against the EMMA Reezafratzitz (which I bought), Frantone Peachfuzz and a Foxx Fuzz (a re-issue of an old pedal I think?)

It was when I put the Tweak Fuzz up against the Reezafratzitz and the Frantone that I noticed that the Tweak Fuzz sounded kinda 'thin' in comparision. I was after a warm sounding fuzz and, for me, the EMMA pedal fit the bill better for me than the Tweak Fuzz did.

It's still a great sounding pedal though

Sounds really interesting, fellas. I tried both the '69 and '70 from Fulltone, and actually for the money I wasn't really into either of them. They definitely did the Hendrix fuzz thing pretty well, but that's not really what i'm after.

I felt really let down by the Fulltone 69 pedal that I tried

It didn't seem to have any 'balls' at all, and also didn't really seem to have that much Fuzz available.

TO at the time mentioned that it sounded like there was something wrong with the pedal, so maybe the 1 I tried was faulty?

p.s. - this is pretty much the exact fuzztone i'm going for, but i can't afford $400 for the Dirty Boy Afro Fuzz - from : localhost/www.bluessaraceno.com/pedals/afro_classic.mp3
