vintage/modern fenders? Are the majority of guitars out there 1 11/16quot;?
My Schecter has a 1 5/8quot; width I believe.
Yeah, I've got a Schecter C-1 Plus with 1 5/8quot;.
Gibson Melody Makers (not usre about the new ones), and some SGs from the late '60s/'70s. Everyone over at everythingsg.com did a check and alot whole lot of the '70s SGs had 1 5/8.
BTW, I'm pretty sure your Nighthawk has it too. I didn't measure, but it feels small.

Yeah it does, feels kinda narrow. I may go 1 11/16 for the warmoth.

I think all but one or two Music Man guitars have 1 5/8ths nut widths. I've seen quite a few Gamp;Ls with that width and even a few high-end Fenders, too.
My Gamp;L has the 1 5/8quot;. I know it's not much smaller than the 1 11/16 on the Dean, but it sure seemed like it at first. Now it's grown on me.
Many older Tele's had the 1 5/8quot; nut width. I once owned a 90' LP Standard which had the same width @ the nut... Weird...

Generally, what guitars will have a 1 5/8quot; nut width?
