ok so i have a 2 humbucker guitar w/ 1 vol 1 tone amp; a 3-way blade switch and i looked @ schematics and didnt see any for a 3 way blade-style switch. is there anyway i can have it be...neck , both, bridge, with the 3-way blade switch that i have ? i saw this: from : localhost/can i just do the same but solder my red / white wires together and just stick 1 capacitor between the volume tone as ususal ?
Basically, just wire the blade like a Tele. Like this:
from : localhost//website.../std_tele.html
Note: The diagram you posted, and the one I posted are fundamentally the same, they just use the common terminal for the pups in one, and for the output in the other. Use either one. They both function the same.
awesome! you rock artie, also, whats the best way to get a wire to my bridge ? ( its a tailpiece / tune-o-matic and there is only a tiny tiny hole thats down there i dont think i can get a soldering iron into heh :-\

That part, I'm not sure of. I've never owned a TOM guitar before. Hopefully, someone else will weigh in on this.
well... with all the computer modding i do i have a nice tool laying around! thats right! the dremel!!! * que music * so i got out some little cutter that came with it and then made a few little slits, got out the sander, sanded down untill i got to the tom, then i cut a little more...im gonna rest a screw on the bottom of the stud and i have enough room to fit the iron in there, illj ust throw in as much solder as i can fit
