Does anyone know where to get replacement allen screws for a Fender quot;Floyd Rosequot; bridge? This is not a typical Floyd Rose, see the attachment.
(Sorry for the dirty, grimy guitar pic...)
i think carrys that bridge so they should have parts that work with it.

What a weird ass freakin' bridge.
How do those compare to an OFR and the standard bridge?
PDF, those are std type hex head screws.
You might find them at Home Depot or another good bet is Northside Hardware on Wayne Rd just north of Mich Ave.

Floyd Rose Locking American Standard Replacement bridge... essentially an AM-Std with locking saddles... Never really caught on. Good Idea but bad work, Wilkinson´s VS-100 does that much better IMO (though they lock the strings in thh block not the saddle)
You should be able to use standard quot;lo -proquot; floyd locking screws from Schaller Lo-Pro, OFR Pro, Ibanez Lo-Pro Edge or Lo-Pro Trs, or Jackson JT-580LP trems.. essentially standard M-3 or M-4 allen bolts
Cool, thanks guys.
Yeah, it's a weird bridge, basically an American bridge that locks the string right in the saddle. I've never really liked it that much so I'm considering putting a standard bridge in, maybe with graphite saddles. I guess it eliminates tuning issues from the ball end shifting in the sustain block but (obviously) you need a wire cutter to do string changes which negates the speed of the locking tuners. For now 6 hex bolts are cheaper than a new bridge. Unless I can find one on ebay....
I bought one of those bridges but have never installed it on anything.. A local guitar store has a sale every year to clean house a bit and they always have old and new parts around.... Got the Fender Floyd bridge for $50..... It was pretty much new... i think it was taken off a Deluxe Strat that the customer wanted an American Standard bridge... ..... I also scored a Strat midrange boost circuit for $4...

Those bridges are actually preferred by some people- it's like the Floyd prototype that EVH had on the black and yellow charvel, and the floyd that Brad Gillis has on his strat. That was the original design of the Floyd, but the strings would go sharp after the locking nut was tightened, so they put fine tuners on it. It works fine on bridges without locking nuts

Ya i heard with a set of locking tuners like on the American Deluxe it works really well at staying in tune..... But i hear they can be a pain in the ass as well...
The problem is you want to tighten them down to make sure the string doesn't pop out and after so many string changes they start to strip...
Also, does anyone know how I could clean this thing up? It's tarnished and rusted.

I offer a bridge cleaning service. I have an industrial strength cleaner that will not strip the finish, but it destroys hand goo and such. PM me for a quote.
