Ok, I've been serching for a guitar again ( I went on a hunt mabey...6 months ago, but decided at the time to buy an amp- A Blues Deluxe).
Right now the main contender is this Deluxe players strat, I like the idea of a strat with the flatter radius and medium-jumbo frets. Also i've heard the parts are MIA but its assembled in Mexico, any truth to that?So I guess the question is, does anyone have any say on this one, any experiences with this guitar, things I should try that are in the same price range, ect? (450-550)
Although i don't own one of these Deluxe Players Strats, i've heard lots of good things about Fenders Deluxe line. Perhaps the best thing about the newest of these Players Strats, is that in the latest Frontline magazine, it clearly shows that they now come with Fender Noiseless pickups! These are the same pickups that are also now used in the Eric Clapton Signature Strat! If you ask me i think it would be an awesome guitar. Happy pickin!FenderBender
thanks for the help. I saw that noisless pickup thing too, deffinintly a big bonus.
I owned one as my second guitar (at that time it was known as the deluxe superstrat and it didnt came with those noiseless pups and the stock pup sounded really weak)... I didnt really like it and i would take a standard MIA over it anyday. maybe its just me though...I didnt like the position of the S1 switch either although it gives it more versitility.
