A Custom Bridge version is available for those players needing more output from the bridge position; and an RW/RP version is available for the middle position. Now here's the thing. yeah, i was gonna guess GJ ...

it's a fun piece of writing ... accurate without precision .. just like most good pickup descriptions

it also had a bit of luke duke's flavour in it ... could you be sand baggin' us there mister?

I feel very honored to contribute to the SD site and happy that after suffering significant emotional damage by being one of only two people who voted for Edgar in the quot;Which Winter?quot; thread, I was able to give Edgar some props, if subtly.

The one thing I'd change is the quot;sweet highsquot;. I don't hear them as being sweet. The Texas Hots are quot;sweetquot; but I hear the highs of the Surfers as being bright, bubbley and very lively...glassy like Chess and Vanguard era Buddy Guy or Jimi Hendrix but the Surfers are a little stronger and throatier. My Surfers all sound like the bubbley bright original pickups in my '63 Strat but a little stronger, deeper and...what's that word I'm looking for??? Well....quot;betterquot;!

I think if Jimi was still around he'd love the Surfers.

That's pretty good...I don't have a strat right now, but those sound like pickups I would want to buy
