Whats happening , well I built this guitar , wired up up correctly and all the pickups work including the 5 way switch but the guitar as a slight hissing sound when clean and when hit distortion a loud screeching sound occurs .
Has anyone experienced this problem before ?

check to make sure all of your soldering joints are strong and making good contact. Also, double check your wiring. I had a Yamaha that was noisy that I swore was wired correctly for 6 months. In frustration, I replaced al the parts (pots, switch, jack) until I gfigured out that I had some wires connected to incorrect points. Made me feel dumb...

If you bought it new, I'd suggest taking it to someone who knows what they're doing to check it out. That way you're not wondering if you wired it wrong or if you got a bad pup for the next few years. And hopefully you'll find something out in time to send it back if you need to.
