Alright, I'm using a 3-way mini-toggle as my pickup switch. I want the 3 positions to be neck/neck amp; bridge/bridge, but as there are 6 lugs on the switch I'm not sure what the connections should be. It's a DP3T on/on/on switch as pictured below.
i cant be sure of a way to make it work just yet (i am in the airport in albuquerque waiting to catch a flight to el paso) ...
for something to try, you could hook one hot wire to one corner and the other hot wire to the opposite corner on the opposite side ... then you connect the posts in the middle to each other and these go the output ...
worth a shot
good luck

Bridge the two middle poles and take them to the output.Take your pickup o/p wires to opposite corners of the switch.
The switch throw is opposite to the direction in which the lever points so connect the neck p/up wire to the lug closest to the bridge p/up and vice versa.

Now, that's real style, man!
Isn't technology wonderful...You can do it like this as well...Awesome, thanks guys. T4D, I'm just a few minutes away if you're at the Sunport.
If you have a mutlimeter with continuity tester, I find they are great for figuring out switches, but octave docter has it correct already.

Yeah, that's something I need to pick up in the near future for sure.
