Any opinions on the Budda Bud Wah?

I need a new wah pedal. I have an old Cry Baby that's gone all crackly, plus it sounds a little thin and harsh. I can't be bothered with taking it to bits and modding it.

I want a simple good quality wah (true bypass) for playing classic rock. Nuthin' Fancy. The Bud Wah looks like it might be the thing. Or is there something else?

I had one for years. I really liked it, and it didn't shave off the highs, when off.
The only thing to know about it is that it's a good idea to open it up, and set the treadle's travel so it's in it's lowest frequency travel. It's as simple as pulling the white plastic tong away from the sprocket, and getting the highs out of the travel.

In the $100-$160 range, it's the best out there. From there, the next step is Teese and Fulltone.

Hey Simon.

My Crybaby started having a similar problem, so I got intouch with John (Stratdeluxer) and bought 1 of his modded Vox wahs.

It sounds absolutely great!!!!!!!!

I can't stress enough how much better this wah sounds than a regular Crybaby and the Morley wahs that I tried before.

I think you'd really like the sound of 1 mate
