i almost bought the 72 reissue thinline a while back. great guitar, and i actually liked the pickups. i found the fretboard to be rediculously sticky from the laqur however

i will post a review and pix after a week or two. i asked a friend from japan to buy it for me since she will be making her way here.

xerxes, it afraid that is so with the mij necks. i am thinking of lightly sanding the neck to smooth things down.
