Hey guys, im just about to make a solder connection from two wires to a jack plug, and i always keep what's ground and what's quot;positivequot; on a male jack: The outer or the inner part of the plug?
I need to get this rigth since i'm wiring speakers to a jack connection.
Thanks,
-Erlend
Is the jack stereo or mono? On mono, the inner is hot, the outer is common (usually called ground). I'm not sure about stereo jacks.
Uhm, ok
Thanks
The quot;sleevequot; is always ground. Green arrows:

You're welcome. I just noticed that you said quot;malequot; jack, but hopefully you were able to transpose that pic.
