Anything similar?
While I don't know that they're equivelant, I'm able to get Helmet sounds out of a Distortion quite easily, and Page Hamilton uses an Air Zone.
Your contribution left unnoticed some
Association with an image
Just credit time for showing up again
Attention wandered I’m left with it
Gone by sin too slowly
Can’t pass it up
Then I thought nothing is right
I turned it off
To die unsung would really bring you down
Although wet eyes would never suit you
Walk through no archetypal suicide
Die young is far too boring these days
Your will to speak clearly
Exposed too much
Unsung once too often
Could not rub off
Heh... Helmet kicks ass.

doc rock the air zone has its own character and is not like any duncan
it is kind of like the regular tone zone but much nicer sounding and more natural
the tone zone has this quot;artificial' thing going on that turns most off while the air version has a more organic tone overall and breathes a lot better.
Do a search on quot;Duncan Dimarzio Comparisonquot; I put that post up and it was really informative on the SD / DM differences. I don't think it covered air zone. And I love my tone zone!
