PRICE DROP!
I've got a Peavey Delta Blues in black tolex that I am selling. Great condition. Has some scuffing on the side where there used to be a spray painted logo that was removed. The handle is also coming undone a little but is still functionally perfect. Works very nicely.
I've also got a 1969 Traynor Bassmaster (YBA-1A) that I may be parting with as well. Decent condition, no logo. Works VERY well! (EL34 tubes)
These are great amps, but I think I'm gonna sell them and look for something a little more suited to me. Thinking about ditching them and something else to buy one of Scott F's amps. This is to see if there is any interest. I'd probably let the Delta Blues go for $315 shipping and the Traynor for $399 shipping.
If anyone is interested, PM me!
Here are pictures of the Peavey..I'll get pictures of the traynor later today. Alright, got some snap shots of the Traynor. The tolex is a bit torn in a couple of places and it's kinda dirty, haven't really gotten around to cleaning it up and I know i should, but it's in pretty good condition for a 35 year old amplifier that's been through some serious gigging by previous owners. The Serial number was scratched out years ago according to the previous owner for reasons unknown to him (yeah, kinda fishy), but he got it legitly, so I'm not worried about it. The first letter of the serial number can still be barely made out which is how I was able to date it to 1969.The Delta Blues 2-10 absolutely ROCKS!

The foot switch come with that Peavy?
no, sorry..don't have the footswitch..I can see if I can find one to go with it but I've never used one and I didn't get it when I got the amp so...
If I can sell my Marshall I might want the Traynor.. but don't hold it for me or anything.
alright chief. It's here so just PM me if ya want it
What would you compare the sound of that Traynor to?
I would compare the sound of the Traynor to the sound of an old plexi. Seriously...that's not exaggeration...ask anyone who's used them. They're a little higher wattage though so ya gotta push it a bit, but with just a small amount of modification to the circuitry, you've got yourself marshall plexi tone for 1/4 of the price! kevlar here on the forums has several of them and can give you even more information on them
Bump for price drop and back to the top!
bump?
Both of these are still available!! Someone please buy them? They're great amps!
If I didn't already have one, I'd buy the Traynor. This is a great, underrated amp that is VERY powerful, and capable of going into serious Marshall or even (gasp) Hiwatt land with a few judicious mods...I believe this is the model with the choke and the bridgable channels. These things will slay a 50 watt Marshall...and are very reliable to boot. Pete Traynor tested his designs by throwing them out a window...(true story).

I had no idea about the throwing out of a window though..that's incredible! Yeah I definitely get the impression that nothing short of global destruction would stop this amp! If I didn't have Scott F building me a Celtic Amplifier, I wouldn't be getting rid of it..but I gotta fund that
