Ok....Before I try the A2 to A3 swap in my PGN...
First give me your tonal opinions or what you feel I'll hear as far as the changes....I know Doc covered it already and I'll re-read his posts on this..
Tell me about the differences in the
Highs, lows, mids, and overall feel of the pickup....We're talkin the PGN A2 to the A3 magnet....Sorry to be so redundent on this guys, but before going back into my guitar again, this would be best...
Thanks for the several posts from all of you on the topic..

Thanks for the clips again buddy...Yes,I remember them well...I think I'm going to hold up on trying the A3 magnet...Doesn't seem like I'd be going the right way and I don't hear alot of difference between the 2 to be honest?
Maybe I'll just mess with the PGN as is for awhile and see if it works out and grows on me? I have a 59 in my SG and I had a 59 in this Love Rock..Maybe I need to just get used to the differences I hear in the mids and low mids...

as you later heard in Doc's tracks, I can't tell the difference between an A2 and an A3 in a PGn. I can tell the difference in a CC, and have an A3 in there right now. I think the A3 CC sound in between an A2 CC and a Custom (I thinking about switching it back to Custom cermaic configuration).
It's strange that the A2-A3 swap doesn't do much in the PGn. Switching the PGn to an A5 or an A4 is noticeable.
Not to hijack the thread, but doesn't someone (rspst14?) use an A3 JazzN? I wonder how different an A2 and A3 JazzN sound? Maybe the A2-A3 swap only makes a noticeable difference in the bridge position.

I'm going to try and get an aged A2 magnet....If that doesn't work,I'll more than likely just go back to the 59N I had in there early on and work with it....We'll see? I really need to be fair to the PGN and myself and spend alot of time with it....
John
Live a3 sounds very much like an a2, but with a little more highs very slightly less lower mids and more definition in the bass register. MP3 conversion might have killed it, I dunno. But you guys are definitely right in a CC the differences are definitely more noticable.
