hey,
just got some new parts for my paul
2 push/pull pots and a Jazz and JB.
Just wondering what i can do with them
e.g. Series/Parallel, Phasing, Coil split
Is there some way to maybe have one push/pull pot to control splitting both humbuckers and the other push/pull pot to adjust series/parallel or phasing.?
What exactly is there difference in sound when the humbuckers are wired in series and parallel.
Any help appreciated
Thanks.

one push/pull can split both pups leaving the other for something else. what other sounds do you want from the axe? the phase switch will give you some cool funkier tones while putting both pups in series will give you more output
i think i'll go for the phase switch
how exactly will it work? will it only work when the switch is in the middle for both neck and bridge? . can tehre still be a phase when the switch is set only on the neck or bridge?.
i was wondering about wiring so one push/pull pot splitting both humbuckers. Does anyone have any wiring diagrams?
Just use this diagram, but bring the quot;otherquot; red/white wire to the other side of the switch. Also, you may want to ground the top lug of the switch rather than the bottom so that the pickup will be split when its pulled.
(Remember also to extend the ground connection of the switch across both sides, or terminals.)
