wow I just read on a magazine about these german guitars. check them out. They make a monocoque, quot;a thin shell of carbon replacing woodquot;. its interesting. since they mention the duncans, I thing this thread fits here all right.

sure you click english! hehe

edit:altough their main product is bass, they have some guitars. the concept is worth checking out.

Interesting, and a bit weird.

There's another company that makes high-quality carbon-fiber acoustics. Click on this link: Shoreline Music: CA Guitars

If that doesn't take you to the CA Guitars page, then click on the CA link on the left.

Artie

When you look at the bass lab guitars, it makes you wonder why the pickups are flat? They could probobly may rounded coil pickups that would match the countour of the body and get REALLY funky.

This guitar is absolutely repulsive: from : localhost/like the LSR tuners though, even though I don't quite know how they work lol!The L-Bow bass looks retarded....this one is like an alien from : localhost/www.basslab.de/OCT/GR/Instrum...arleq_bdt.html

Not my cup of tea, but I'm all for innovation.

I think they're pretty cool, although some are way too radical for me, they can custom make shapes which is incredibly bad ass though

i love the innovation! Some of the shapes are a little odd, but i played a graphite necked steinberger for years, and my acoustic has a graphite top. it can be made a lot thinner than wood (1/3 thickness) so it can really project. I like the idea of lighter, more resonant and diverse body shapes...now if only it had a midi pickup...

They look a littele wacky, but they play and sound great
