on van morrisons songs, such as domino, what guitar is the guitarist using? i dig the sound. thanks....
Domino always sounded a bit Strat-y to me. Van Morrison is The Man.
I'm hearing what sounds like a 335.
For a lot of the seventies, John Platania was his guitarist and he was a Strat guy. He's got some sort of signature guitar out now (I forget who makes it), but his stuff (especially on the live album) really sounds Stratty to me.
Van is one of the best. A strange, strange man, but an incredible musician.
If you haven't bought Astral Weeks yet, go get it!
Van The Man
Hell Yeah
Sorry, but there is only one answer to any question related to Van Morrison: NO.

Did you get Astral Weeks yet?
Trust me, it will come in handy in college.
Are there any electric guitars on Astral Weeks? I don't remember any.
You breathe in, you breathe out.

His guitarist played a strat until Van Morrison ate it.
