i heard some guy say that you cant use effects pedals with modeling amps , because the amp doesnt handle them well and it sounds bad. is this true? i have a modeling amp but id still like to get some pedals like a tubescreamer and a wah.
dun get a pedal with a modeller. trust me. all the other forum members will tell you the exact same thing.
EDIT: sorry i dint read ur question correctly, i thought u meant a pedal with modeller. you meant using pedals with modelling amps. dun think there's a problem to that.
I have a couple of pedals that I use with my PodXT, I haven't noticed any adverse effects, it all seems good to me...
i tried several pedals with my Vetta II and never had problemes or bad sound. I can't see anything different about it so i'd say just try it out.
I'm using several floor effects pedals with my Vox Valvetronix head and my fender cyber twin combo....They work great..Don't know where the info that you can't use pedals with modeling amps is coming from, but it's simply not true?
