My roommate has been interested in teles and has decided to get an hh tele. His interested in this tele right now from : localhost/do you guys think about this guitar? This is going to be his first guitar. It seems pretty good as it already has 2 duncans in it. A 59 in the neck and pearly gates in the bridge.

I haven't played this particular guitar but the specs on it look pretty solid. One thing worth nothing is the body is basswood which doesn't stand up to abuse whatsoever.

Craziest thing happened today. I forgot about the thing musicanfriend's was doing for all fender guitars, with $50 dollars off. Then I checked up on the price of it the website and guess what. The price was $299.99, so it dropped from $349.99 I paided last week. So I ended up calling them and I'm just paying for is $249.99 for it. I'm paying for it right now as my friend doesn't have enough money.

This just seems like the best deal ever for fender guitars as I even bought my sss fender standard strat for $289. You guys should check out the deal. I think the $50 off is for people on the musicianfriend's mailing list.
