I'm looking for one in seafoam green
I've owned one in Seafoam Green and one in Graffiti Yellow but they both have been sold. I eventually upgraded to a MIA and what a huge difference feel wise....
Yeah, it'd be killer if i could just find a body but i'm having terrible luck.
You could always just get a 1-hum/1-vol pickguard for a MIM Strat body...
Yeah but then he'd be missin out on the lucious hardtail bridge
I see 'em on eBay from time-to-time bro, just keep lookin...
yeah, i'm totally getting/looking for the delonge for the hardtail and the seafoam green. I'd be routing the body for 3 singles and getitng turtoise pickguard. i'd be selling the whole delonge pickguard assembly.

I think the Delonges have a swimming pool routing.
awesome, less work
The MIM strats don't have swimming pool routes, do they?

As for as I know Fender is no longer using the universal (swimming pool) route.
I won't speak for Tom Delong strats, but something I noticed recently with my 2 MIM strat bodies. The standard series one is H/S/S, the deluxe series one is H/S/H lt;= which is good because I'm putting an H/H pickguard on the deluxe series next week Rock On

Ok I didn't know any of the MIM strats were pre routed for a humbucker in the bridge. I recall butchering the S-S-S route to fit a Jackson humbucker in a strat many years ago.
Most recent MIM strats have HSS routing. Tom Delonge strats already have HSS routing, but if you buy a 3 single coil pickguard, you can use it for a SSS configuration.
once again, works for me! the hardest part: actually finding a seafoam green delonge body hahaha oh boy
They are routed H/S/S and the color is called quot;Surf Greenquot;, not seafoam. Seafoam is a different (darker) color.
I have modded two of them myself (green and blue) and they are great guitars. The hardtail and large CBS headstock totally make the guitar.
ahhh, thanks for the details carrot. I def want the lighter/surf Green! if only you still had that one to sell me!

They really do!
If your are prepared to wait ebay is probably the way to go, my sister got a mint condition one a few months ago for about $300, shes really pleased with it and quality wise its as good as they come, just be patient and wait for the right deal.
and as a bonus, it has the medium jumbo frets like the USA series and not the smaller vintage size that the standard Mexican line has. That's because it's part of the Mexican Deluxe series and they all have the upgraded frets. But the edges aren't rolled like the newer American series, more like the old USA. I have pics of mine in my sig link if anyone cares to check, second page I believe.
to the top!
