I getting ready to wire up my guitar. It has an H/H set up with a 3 way blade switch, and two knobs. I would like it to have an individual volume for each humbucker and no tone control. How would I go about that? Thanks
Travis
Seymour can handle this one:

Basically, its just a matter of putting the volume controls before the switch.
Edit: Miss-read your post. Its still the same diagram, just leave off the tone control.
like so:
Just one thing, you may want to reverse the bottom two terminals on that diagram for quot;LP-stylequot; wiring, so one volume doesn't kill the other pup.

I hate when that happens.
Seriously though, thats a different thing than what I'm talking about. I mean reverse the quot;wiperquot; and end lug connections. So the pup comes into the wiper, and the output goes off the end thats opposite the ground.
Sweet, thanks guys.
Better now??
(I'm still learning that stuff)

All right, still having some trouble. I've got a three way blade switch, not a toggle if that makes a difference.
Anyone care to step it out for me?
Travis; that diagram is for a three-way blade. I'm not sure I understand where you're having trouble. Can you elaborate, or PM me?
Can you post a pic, or link, to your switch?
It looks like the diagram is for a toggle to me, but I could be wrong. Through trial and error I actually made some progress. Everything works perfectly except for the switch. I think I have the output jack wired to the wrong terminal on the switch. The volume knobs work to blend on and off, so I can have any combination of the two pickups through the knobs. The switch is set to both humbuckers full on no matter what position it is actually in. I'll probably work on it tomorrow. As of right now, I'm busy playing it as it sounds completely amazing. Of course, what else would dual Duncan Distortions sound like in a Charvel 750xl?
SUCCESS!!!! I am the smartest man alive. It's a wonder what trial and error will do. No joke that you just have to take your time and think everything out before you do it.
I've got the guitar hooked up with individual volumes for each pickup, no tone and the three way set to:
pos 1: full neck
pos 2: full neck/full bridge with individual volume blend capabilities
pos 3: full bridge
This thing is a fire breather!
