I have a buddy overseas that has a Duncan Custom Shop Distortion pup, he says it's NOT a Screamin Demon, and that it's a bit hotter than a stock Distortion pickup. He says it kicks ass.

Anybody have one, or heard about this?

He mentioned a Distortion quot;wound a little different for mequot; on his Guitar bible DVD, but, I've not found any info on it around....hopefully someone here knows the scoop, so, here's your bump, bro

lynch used a bone stock DD on his older guitars
i never heard of him having one custom wound?

Well evidently he did, and it's available in the Custom Shop

How did it compare to the stock dist?
Would love to have it!
