I am thinking about buying either a blackjack tempest or a blackjack 006. None of the stores around here keep either one in stock so I haven't got to play either style guitar. Which one would yall consider better? From what I understand they have the same features just the different body styles.

Go with the Tempest! You get a pickguard, a three-way switch out of the way and 2 volume knobs and 2 tone knobs. Where can you go wrong with those features? Plus with the authentic s (JB/59) you get some thick tone! Go with the Tempest.

im gonna be different and say 006 all the way. ive never played a tempest, but the 006's ive played have ALL been great. but schecter makes great guitars no matter what so im sure whatever you get you'll be very please with.

I like both, along with the C-1 Blackjack. hehehehe

Tempest is a lot thicker, just to tell you.

I've not tried the blackjack series but when I was hunting for a guitar I played a Tempest and a 006 elite and I thought the Tempest was better, more power and clearer...
