Has anyone heard this Cream bootleg (or was anyone there)? About 30 minutes into the concert Clapton fires off some of the most incendiary guitar playing I have ever heard in my life. This may be the birth of shred guitar. Was he using the SG in this concert? Details please!

Going thru the order of songs on the 1st of 2 Grand Ball zip files, 30 minutes into the concert would put the song as Sweet Wine, which was actually one of their slower songs. Approx. 1:50 into this song, EC starts his solo, which seems to be his normal pace for that time/era; as can be heard from their lps/cds and bootlegs.

Not that I can play any better, but his playing doesn't seem to fall into shred category on that one. Maybe you refer to some other song?
