nope.. never seen one before.....
iirc, its made by esp under license from sd. i understood they made strats, teles, j and p bass under the sd brand but never seen or heard anything about a lp. this is the first i came across. pretty trick to have seymour's signature on the headstock!
yeah it was made my ESP Japan from : localhost/hope they start making some more guitars then I'll work on getting one sent over to the U.S. They can make strat headstocks and LP's over there in Japan and avoid the trademarks apparently.
Looks like a nice LP copy, I wouldn't mind owning it.
Rock On!
oh man, i am so buying one of those if i can find one!!

Pretty cool. At UGD, I showed my LP Prem Plus to Seymour, so he could see the engraved 50th Ann Seths in it. He signed his name across the case for it.
Scott F actually had him sign the back of his Historic's headstock.
That ESP looks like a cool keepsake. I wonder if it has a chunky neck or slim type? How much?
listed on ishibashi at 49,801 yen. that's about usd $417!
gearjoneser, you may want to check with ishibashi on the neck profile.
Mattt brought his SD strat to the UGDUK, that was a very nice guitar.
I have known a couple of guys who owned the Teles from ESP Japan. They were topnotch... Better than anything Fender would do... I would love to have one.

whoa! that price is unbeatable!
i'll check the site out!
I saw one in a guitar shop in Nagoya, I think. (I'm pretty sure it wasn't Ishibashi, where I saw it) BTW, Ishibashi is a great company, if I never return to Japan and need a Japanese guitar, I have confidence in them now.
It's funny how we have the guy they're named after but we can't get them.

shipping cost aside, japanese-made guitars under license from american companies usually cost lesser than their american counterparts. they are almost similar in quality of build if not better. factor in shipping cost and they will still be cheaper than those mia.
