I have a Silvertone 1484 head and matching cab that I'm looking to get rid of for some cash. Unfortunatly, the speakers are not the original Jensens but Celestion G12-75s. Fully functional and 8.5 out of ten considering it's around 40 /- a few years old. Tubes seem ok and the reverb of course is garbage like on every one of these I've ever played. The tremolo is godlike and I mean it...it beats any Fender you could pit it against. I have a picture of it here: from : localhost/community.webshots.com/photo/...1110027YfkQnE#
How much for the cab?
well...there is no price...what are you looking to get?

The cab alone would be maybe 100? im thinking the head for 3? I need more money but i just cant squeeze any more out of this thing. I have the footswitch too by the way.
This is a long shot but I'm interested in a Tonelab SE as far as trades go.
are you saying $400.00 for both pieces?
yep
$100 for the cab is a bit much, maybe $100 with shipping...

I wont sell the cab separately for less than 100 but if u buy both ill take 25 off the full price.
I had one of those amps. They don't really pull a lot of money. I see the head on ebay selling from anywhere between $145-$200. The whole set may be worth $300 shipping. Weird thing on those was, the head was hardwired to the cab, so you couldn't change head/cab setup. So unless someone's changed yours from stock and added a speaker out for the speaker cab and it's not hardwired, it'll be tough to sell them seperately

Yeah it's been separated. There's also a preamp out which I've never used so I don't know if it works. If it doesn't get what I'm hoping for it's ok I just wanted to see if getting rid of it would help me more than keeping it.
