AFTER!!!:Got sick of those PAF Pros (nice harmonics but bass just a tad too loose and not quite enough bite) so I slapped a JB/Jazz set in there and changed the knobs. Whaddya think? I like it a lot more... kinda makes the red look a little darker.

How do you like the sound of the pickups? It's a nice looking axe.

just a notion, but a black pearloid pickguard would look nice wrapped around those hummers....

an APH2 would sound a lot warmer than the Jazz- but i love the colors!

I like the new version considerably more than the old. Good pickup choice too!

I like the knobs and the pups with the white.

ahhh much better...all white is just too bland!!

Ohhhh man they're NICE. Just the right kind of bass response (tight enough but not dolphins-butt tight) nice clear mids and crisp, syrupy highs.

The Floyd was stock but the PAF Pros were not... they were originally Fender DH-1s. I bought the guitar off ebay about 3 years ago for $675 w/ case.

It's part of the Fender Floyd Rose Classic Series. Basically American Strats with a Floyd and an HSS or HH setup.

Awesome job, man. The pups and knobs set off the white perfectly. I don't know if you could find a nicer strat.
