I've had a few questions on my site shredaholic.com about scalloping fretboards (as Yngwie Malmsteen did this), does anyone know enough about the process so I can put a tutorial for it on my site? And, if somebody has the 'scallopwned' pic I think I may have a use for that too

oh by the way, of course full credit would be given and any links to your site / affiliate referrals you want could go on it too

It´s hard to write a decent scalloping tutorial without a neck on hand to demonstrate on... Otherwise I´d be glad to help

Blackmore did it way before Malmsteen.

thats like reason 1 or 2 for me. its a toss up between that and the fact that it is full of knowledge. i guess they both go hand in hand though.

lol yeh same for me, I was only trying to illustrate the fact there were so many reasons by giving it a random high number

seems pretty kewl. i might try the top like 3 or 4 frets on my squier, and see how it goes.

I hear they are really fast so much so that you have to chase em down in a truck...opps those are galloping fretboards...
