no amp to play it through, but i'm working on that and i'm excited regardless. i've been without an electric guitar now for almost a year!

anyways it in such great shape for a guitar that's probably 20 years old!

i'll probably get some new frets on it eventually as they are slightly worn but they're not too bad! i'm not going to put in different pickups in it yet...not until i get an amp and see if/what it needs after i've played it awhile.

God willing...i'll keep this one forever!

now for the amp quest...here's my thoughts so far on that

i just have to figure out what the exact tone i'm looking for is...of course i know GJ would say get the Vox and the nice cab and after you find the tone on the Vox you like the best then get the Head and you already have the nice cab.....am i right?! lol!

these are my favorite tones.....i love deep cleans with lush verb and actually my favorite overdriven tones are chunky mesa types...i love to listen to Marshally leads, but i can't play lead to save my life so i prefer the smoother rhythm sounds...i guess that's why i'm leaning a little towards a Mesa...old skool cleans and new skool crunch...
