played a cort x custom guitar today with invader and jazz duncans and the sound was unbelievable.
you guys were right on the money about the jazz being better for hard rock than the paf 59.NOT HARSH AT ALL.

THE INVADER IS TOP NOTCH,EVEN BETTER THAN MY OLD ANDERSON H3 .i thought that the ultra low end would bother me ,but no...its very balanced and tight low end.im in love with the jazz...no more air norton for me.
thanks guys you rock

Omg i wanted a invader jazz only because mark Morton!! log hellya nice

Children...who the hell is mark Morton? :fing25:

i dunno about the H3 , but i greatly prefer my H3 to the invader. invader isnt bad, theres just something about it that aint exactly the greatest to my ears

One of the guitarists for Lamb of God

I love the Invader. Nice and dark, but not overly dark. Not muffled. Great to lay into some Sabbath with.

haha. its funny you say that (especially in a thread where the H3 is mentioned) cause i think that the H3 is great for sabbath. the invader is too grainy and modern for that IMO. sounds huge though, ill give it that

hey ex-250 yur the guy i wanted to talk to.about the anderson´s...
they really are the best for D tuned stuff and fat cutting tone.but the clean sucks...at least on the washburn.but the invader has more, umphhhhhhh to the low end.its the only way i can describe it.i guess id put them both as being great.maybe the wood does matter as the cort is a basswood.i dont know if the invader would sound as good in a mahogany guitar such as my old washburn idol series.

I love how huge the invader sounds, im one of very few people on this forum using the invader and not playing metal or high-gain stuff, yet this pickup is perfect for me. Perfect bass and mids to produce such a thick and warm tone. Even though i don't use the neck much im very tempted to pick up a Jazz neck to see how it pairs with my invader.
